I started painting at the end of 2014, being inspired by my cousin-in-law's birthday gift to me (painted mason jars).
Since then I've largely been self-taught except for the design classes I took for my graphic design certificate.
I try hard to not take myself or my art too seriously. I don't think artistic pieces necessarily have to have some grandiose message behind it. Art can exist just for the sake of being pretty or interesting to look at.
